In Parsecs or LIght Years..?

(Sorry, I can't help, but I think they are either an inch or 25mm, I may be wrong. Isn't BFG one of the games that is on PDF in GW's site? If so, can you not look there...?)

i don't think it uses squares?

you measure in cm, and have turn angles and such.. or so i bellive
... and to think, all we're trying to do is play with toy soilders ...

As Clive said. Measurements are in cms and then you have your turning angles etc.

I once had a copy of this, I've read the rules, painted the ships but never played it. The game uses centimeters and there are templates for turning, it would not be practical to play on a squared board in the same way as 40k or fantasy would not be able to be played in this way.

well i got the pics from http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Space_Fleet_(game)

thier page actually states it as being a short lived game

neither that or its wiki page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_Fleet offered any info on the size of the squares i'm afraid. i think you'll have to dig around for the actual game, or the very old white dwarves that had the rules in.

yes it ws short lived, cos GW decided to "improove it" and killed it dead, but not before i devised a campaign based on the original game....which i still have...the campaign not the game....somebody out there must still have a copy.....

The sqaires were about 50mm cos you could never get the ships to sit close right when they were in squares next to each other.

It was a rubbish game.

Battle fleet Gothic on the other hand was a great game
